Join us for the Alaska Academy of PAs Annual Membership Meeting on Friday, October 16. This important gathering brings our members together to connect, reflect on the past year, and look ahead to the future of our Academy.

Highlights of the evening include:

• Annual elections for Board positions

• Networking with fellow PAs from across Alaska

This will be a hybrid event.

• A Zoom link for virtual attendance will be provided closer to the event.

We encourage all members to attend and take part in shaping the future of AKAPA.

AKAPA is accepting nominations for open Board of Directors positions for terms beginning January 1, 2027.

Serving on the AKAPA Board is an opportunity to represent PAs across Alaska, contribute to the direction of the Academy and help advance the PA profession at the state and national levels.

Open positions include:

• President-Elect: A three-year commitment, serving one year each as President-Elect, President and Past President. The President-Elect serves as board liaison to the Membership Committee and organizes and conducts AKAPA’s annual elections. Term expires December 31, 2029.
• Director of Community Engagement: Serves as liaison to the Community Engagement Committee and works to build a network of providers and organizations that engage with AKAPA. Term expires December 31, 2028.
• Director of Advocacy: Serves as liaison to the Advocacy Committee, participates in advocacy meetings and works to engage AKAPA members in advocacy fundraising efforts. Term expires December 31, 2028.
• House of Delegates Representative: A one-year commitment representing AKAPA and Alaska PAs in the AAPA House of Delegates.Term expires June 30, 2027.
